What roles does the software support?
We have three roles with the following general responsibilities:
- The Owner - Responsible for setting the initial categories, assigning
coworkers as Moderators or Field Members, tracking transactions and credit
usage, and running deep insights using our AI engine. They also have all the
rights as Moderators do.
- Moderators - Responsible for managing issues from cradle to grave. They
validate issues, make sure they are appropriate, clean them up, make them
public, and assign them to Field Members. In the end, they finalize and approve
resolutions and close the issues out.
- Field Members - Responsible for the work associated with issues. They
have access only to those issues assigned to them and can modify the resolutions
section of an issue only. Field Members are not deterred by any other area of
the system and are left to focus exclusively on the work and the best resolution.
Why use Open Source maps?
We use Open Source maps because they are made by the community for the
community, which allow anyone to make changes and add data as they see
fit (to their maps.) Additionally, it's free, light-weight and efficient,
and its libraries supported by a community of developers.
Is it anonymous?
Yes and No. Unlike social logins where your data is collected, we only need
an email address in order to validate your issue as coming from you, and to prevent abuse.
We do not collect or require any other personal information.
I can't see my submission. Why?
The following presents the sequence of events:
- You make a submission.
- Once in a while, at random, we send a validation token by way of your provided email address.
Please check your spam/junk folders. (NOTE: validation tokens expire and
issues deleted.)
- Once validated, we examin the issue, inspect the data, make sure any
private data is removed, and make it public.
- Reasons for deletion of record:
- You did not validate the token we sent you.
- It's a duplicate.
- It does not belong in any given category.
- It has aged out.
- It's spam.
Do you use any Artificial Intelligence (AI)?
Yes. You have to see it to believe it. This is one area about which we are very excited and
are making substantial improvements regularly.
